Welcome to the Caboose in Mundelein
Caboose was started by two long time friends that aspired to create a casual atmosphere while serving up quality fare (“not your standard fare”), without breaking the bank. The ingredients are always fresh and cooked to order. Although Caboose opened in tumultuous economic conditions, we are proud to be approaching the start of our fifth year in existance. We’d like to thank all who have made that possible through repeat visits and recommendations to those who aren’t familiar with us. The familiar faces that we see on a regular basis confirms our thought that good food brings great people together. Stop in and bring the whole family. We are open daily at 7am and serve up some mighty fine breakfast to start your day whether on your way to work or play. We are only a stones throw from the Mundelein train station. Call ahead and we can have your breakfast and Seattles’ Best drip or gourmet coffee ready for your morning commute.
